THE STORY SO FAR
This is the story of just one man. Glen Erickson.
The Shameless brand was born out of passion and commitment. Hobbies gone wild. First with music, Shameless Records Canada was born out of the need to continue building the careers of a group of budding artists in Western Canada. A lifetime of pursuits in the music business led to this rather novice venture in 2002, and still going strong.
Shameless Design Studio opened doors early 2008. Glen took money from his brother-in-law in 2005 to fill out content for a website, a rather new concept back then. Introduced to Photoshop and HTML, the unique skillset of the web designer was born. The hobby became more with a five year position at Odvod Media, a marketing/media agency, as a graphic designer. This was followed with a move to LiFT Interactive, to work primarily as web designer, brand specialist, and project manager with a few of his peers. Glen decided to move on from LiFT and become boss, with the desire to take more control over his own path and passion for his art, his music, and his family.
Glen boasts an extensive knowledge of design and art management in the music industry. Understanding all of the latest trends in packaging design and web marketing, along with a wealth of experience in working with artists and helping them achieve their vision.
There is no smoke and mirrors here. Glen will tell you his strengths and limitations. Honest timelines. Accurate proposals. Reasonable budgets. Designing what you need to say, getting it done.
